SOUPS DD303 Course Overview Day

19th March 2016, Queen Mary's College, Basingstoke
Online booking has now closed, please contact south@oups.org.uk for availability.

So often at the massively popular OUPS Revision Weekends students have said "If only we had had this overview of the course earlier in the year"

This is just what the Course Overview Days were designed to provide. The DD303 Course Overview Day is designed to provide a conceptual framework for the whole of your course.

There will be four taught sessions and during the day you will:

  • Learn to identify the core ideas in each chapter
  • Find out how to make the key links between chapters
  • Get a comprehensive set of handouts for all lectures

Dr Peter Naish chaired the cognitive psychology courses at the OU for many years including the development and implementation of DD303 (he knows this courses inside out!). He has tutored for OUPS at their revision weekends where students find his extensive knowledge and clear presentation style an invaluable asset when getting to grips with the course material. He continues as a course director of the DD303 residential schools where he delights in taking tutors and students on very long walks on their afternoon off…

What students have said:"Great handouts", "Definitely it helped improve my grade", "Suddenly, the penny dropped and I understood what it was all about"
