A talk by Professor Frederick Toates, 23rd October 2018, from 6pm (Talk begins at 7pm).

This social event combines a talk and social drinks where you can meet other Open University Psychology students in the London Region both before and after the talk.

We are delighted to have Professor Frederick Toates giving this talk. Frederick is Professor of Biological Psychology at the Open University, where he has over 37 years experience of teaching and tutoring. An author on many of the OU Psychology courses, including DE100, his published books include Biological Psychology (3rd edition, Pearson Education, Harlow), which forms a popular and recommended text in a number of universities throughout the world, a book on B.F. Skinner and his most recently published book, 'How Sexual Desire Works: The Enigmatic Urge'.   He has taught undergraduate classes not only in the UK but also in Moldova, Romania, France, Germany, Denmark, Sweden and the USA.

In this talk, Frederick will present an update on his research since the publication in 2014 of 'How Sexual Desire Works: The Enigmatic Urge'. It promises to be a fascinating and enjoyable event, and a great opportunity to socialise with other OU psychology students in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere.
