E219 Springboard day
Psychology of Childhood and Youth (E219) Springboard Day
So often at the revision weekends, students say “If only we had this overview of the course earlier in the year”. That’s why OUPS (the Open University Psychological Society) created overview days. Overview days provide a framework for the whole course and help students to understand what to focus on in TMAs and the exam. Feedback from students has been that these days are inspirational and packed with content, making them excellent value in terms of time and money. But students have then said, ‘It would have been even better to have had this right at the start of the module?’ Hence Springboard Days.
The day comprises four sessions. Subject areas are:
- Introduction to E219 and Cognitive Development
- Identity and Emotional Development
- Attachment; and study skills
- Communication; and writing good essays
Registration will take place from 9.30am. Lectures will start at 10.00 am. The day will finish at approximately 3.00pm.
