Description

We are proud to announce that 2014 will be the 40th anniversary of OUPS. Come and help us celebrate. We will be holding a party to mark the occasion on July 5th at Warwick University during the conference weekend and we have arranged overnight accommodation as part of the package so you can fully relax and enjoy yourself.

The programme for the evening will be:

 

  • 7pm: Free Drinks reception, during which Professor Frederick Toates and Dr Richard Stevens will welcome everyone and will raise a toast to OUPS
  • 7.45 : Dinner
  • 8.45 : After dinner talk by Neil Frude
  • 9.15 : Dessert + coffee
  • 9.45 : Disco and time to talk and catch up with old friends and new

 

We have negotiated a special price of £90 (ensuite) or £80 (standard) to include the dinner, entertainment and overnight accommodation on the 5th July

The celebrations take place during our annual conference which will be on .The new neurosciences . friend or foe.. If you book to come to the conference weekend the party is included in your weekend rate. Please follow this link to find out more about the conference.

 

We hope that many old and new members will come to share in our celebrations and to reminisce about OUPS past and present as well as look forward to the future! Please do let all your OU and OUPS friends and colleagues know about the celebrations so they can join in as well.

Venue

The party will be held in Butterworth Hall, Warwick Arts Centre, Conference Park, Warwick University. 

All those who have booked the party will have been emailed joining instructions. registration will take place in the Conference Reception in the Students Union Building, next to Rootes Building, where you can get your timetable for the evening, name badge and room key. The OUPS registration desk will be open to welcome you from 4-6pm on Saturday 5th July.
